My older brother had been playing guitar for a lot of his life and he ended up giving me his old electric gutair. I bought an amp from my friend and I just took it from there. Youtube is so easy to learn off of, I find song that I like or ones that sound like they would be fun to play and there is always a lesson for it. My skill wil only reflect as the aount of effort and time I put in. Now that I finally have a stratocaster, I have no excuse but to be able to play it well. I plan on playing my whole life, having music in my life is just something I personally need.
I like to surf, and spearfish, hike and go to the beach. My intersts used to be diffferent though, I used to live in Colorado and so i skied my whole life. I miss that, but I have found many new hobies living by the ocean. I think California personally is a better place for me.
Enter the Fender Mexican Stratocaster. These popular mid-level Fender models offer the same classic look as the American Stratocaster at about half the price. Still, there are key differences in the design, hardware and sound of the MIM (Made in Mexico) versus the MIA Strat, Aside from the Gibson Les Paul and Fender Telecaster, there is electric guitar quite as iconic as the Fender Stratocaster. I did not only just want a guitar that looked good. I wanted it to have a good-quality sound and design. Luckily, the MIM Strat achieves that balance between looking good and playing well. Like the MIA, it has a 25.5 inch scale, an 11-hole pickguard and a contoured alder body that fits comfortably on your lap while you are sitting and rests comfortably against your stomach while you stand.
